Midwest KIA

Midwest KIA enlisted SJCF Architecture to create one of the largest KIA stores in the nation. During the design process, collaboration between KIA’s corporate branding team, the owner and the architect enabled the development of an award-winning dealership that exceeded expectations.

2017 AIA Wichita Excellence in Interior Design

Located just off a busy urban highway, the site includes a secure sales lot for 230 vehicles as well as abundant service and customer parking. Exterior work required coordination of electronic access, corporate signage, LED lot lights and a message board.

The building’s 23,000 square foot ground floor includes a showroom, parts department and service bays. The two-story showroom features a wide expanse of exterior glass to provide greater sales-lot visibility for staff and a comfortable open-feel shopping experience for the customer. Administrative offices and a large meeting room capable of hosting the entire staff are located on the 7,000 square foot upper floor. The service department includes three wash bays, two express service bays and ten full-service bays.
